At European Performing Arts Conservatory (EPAC), we believe dance has the power to inspire confidence, build character, and create lifelong memories. Our mission is to provide exceptional dance education in a positive, encouraging environment where every dancer feels supported, challenged, and inspired to reach their full potential.

We are committed to developing strong, well-rounded dancers through high-quality technical training while teaching creativity, discipline, respect, and a genuine love for the performing arts. Every class is designed to help students grow not only as dancers, but also as confident young individuals who carry the values they learn in the studio into every aspect of life.

Our experienced faculty is passionate about sharing their knowledge and guiding each dancer through every stage of their journey. Whether a child is stepping into their very first ballet class or preparing for advanced pre-professional training, every student receives personal attention and encouragement in a welcoming atmosphere where hard work and dedication are celebrated.

Performance is an essential part of the EPAC experience. Rather than traditional dance recitals, our dancers participate in two professionally produced ballet performances each season. These productions provide invaluable stage experience while allowing students to tell meaningful stories, develop artistry, and experience the excitement of performing for the community.

EPAC proudly carries on a legacy that began in 1977 when Lori Smoak and Germaine Bledsoe brought their passion for classical ballet from Germany to Volusia County. Their vision established a studio known for excellence in dance education and unforgettable ballet productions that inspired generations of dancers.

In June 2023, former student Kaley Marshall became Owner and Artistic Director, continuing the tradition that first inspired her as a young dancer. Today, she remains dedicated to preserving the studio's rich history while introducing new opportunities that allow dancers to thrive in an ever-evolving performing arts world.

At EPAC, we are more than a dance studio—we are a community built on encouragement, passion, excellence, and family. We celebrate every achievement, support one another through every challenge, and strive to make each dancer's journey both meaningful and memorable. Our goal is for every student to leave each class stronger than when they arrived—not only in technique, but also in confidence, knowledge, and love for the art of dance.
